Shoutout
Creator campaigns without the spreadsheet
Briefs, approvals, usage rights and live reach tracking for creator campaigns — pulled straight from the Instagram Graph API instead of screenshots in a group chat.

A sample brief, a real product. We wrote this brief ourselves to show how we work; the client and their story are illustrative. The product is not: it was designed and engineered here, and you can use it below. We publish results only for work a client has let us verify, so this page shows none.
The brief
Brands were running creator collabs through DMs, drives and a prayer. Shoutout gives both sides one room: the brand posts a brief, creators pitch, content gets approved with rights attached, and performance streams in automatically.
The approach
A NestJS API on PostgreSQL models briefs, deliverables and rights windows; the Instagram Graph API syncs reach and engagement on a schedule; Mux handles video review with frame-accurate comments; Resend fires the nudges nobody has to remember.
- Instagram Graph API ingestion + webhooks
- Rights & licensing modelled, not implied
- Mux video review with timed comments
- Escrowed payouts on deliverable approval

Under the surface
How it is built
NestJS on PostgreSQL models briefs, rights windows and payouts; the Instagram Graph API syncs performance on schedule and webhooks, Mux powers frame-accurate video review, Resend sends the nudges.
- Graph API sync with webhook + backfill reconciler
- Usage rights modelled as first-class records
- Mux review player with timecoded comments
- Escrowed payouts released on approval events
Considered and turned down
Airtable + Zapier ran the pilot — it broke exactly where rights and payouts needed guarantees.
Stack
The mechanism, working
The part of Shoutout that was hardest to get right, as a small model you can operate.
Rights-attached approvals
Approving a post signs its usage window. Payout escrow releases on the same event.
