Privacy, in plain words.

Browsing the site

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read, so we know what is useful and what is not. It sets cookies on this domain named _ga and _ga_…, which last up to two years, and sends Google the pages you open, the rough area you are in, and details of your browser. Google Analytics 4 does not store your full IP address. Google processes this on our behalf under its privacy policy.

We have switched the advertising features off: nothing here builds an advertising profile or follows you to other sites. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, analytics is not loaded at all and no cookie is set. You can also block it with Google’s opt-out add-on.

Apart from that: no advertising pixels, and no other third-party scripts, fonts or embeds. Everything else the pages load comes from this domain.

Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (IP address, time, address requested) for security and troubleshooting, as every web host does. We do not combine those logs with anything else.

The project form

If you send a brief or a quick message, we store what you entered: your answers about the project, your name and email and, if you chose to give them, your company, role, website and phone number.

Alongside it we store the time, which form and page it came from, your browser's user-agent string, an automatic spam score, and a keyed one-way hash of your IP address. The hash lets us limit abuse without keeping the address itself; it cannot be turned back into your IP address.

We use this for one purpose: to reply to you and, if we work together, to run the project. We do not sell it, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.

The enquiry is emailed to the studio through our email provider, and a backup copy is kept in a managed cloud database in case an email goes missing. Those two providers process the data on our behalf. Only the studio’s own team reads it.

On your device

While you fill in a form, your answers are kept in your browser’s session storage so a refresh or a failed send does not lose them. That draft never leaves your device until you press send. It is deleted when the enquiry is sent, and in any case when you close the tab.

The live product demos and Lab models run entirely in your browser with sample data. Some demos remember their sample state in your browser’s local storage. Nothing you type into a demo is sent to us.

Cookies

Only the Google Analytics cookies described above. Nothing else. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, none at all.

How long, and your choices

We keep enquiries for as long as the conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete them. You can ask us at any time to show you, correct or delete what we hold about you. Write to studio@yakooha.com and we will do it.
